AOl launches indian portal

AOL, the Internet division of $44.2-billion Time Warner launched its India portal .
This is its first portal outside the US and Europe.
It is among International giants like Google ,Yahoo, MSN .
Now it will compete with these international brands who already acquired their spaces as well as with the Indian players like Rediff, Indiatimes, Sify, OneIndia and Sulekha.
How ever among the features of the new portal are:

  • A powerful Web search product, powered by Google, that helps users find the local or international information they need.

  • Video content in many channels providing a superior broadband experience
